Take Control Over Your Pain!
Stem cell therapy is a breakthrough pain treatment providing relief to those suffering from chronic or acute pain. Stem cell therapy helps people feel better by regenerating damaged tissues using a high concentration of cells, delivering a targeted dose of cells to the affected area. With stem cell therapy the pain can be gone, with no need for injection blocks or medication to mask the pain.
Stem cell therapy stimulates healing of the damaged cells that cause pain. By injecting healthy cells directly into the affected area, these cells promote regeneration, which can alleviate pain by treating the cause. By directly treating the pain at the source, the area may be able to fully heal the damaged tissue, finally putting and end to your pain.
Stems cells are “undifferentiated” cells, which allow them to develop into another type of cell that is required to repair or replace damaged tissue. Stem cell therapy is used to treat a number of conditions that cause pain, and can be very beneficial for those with chronic pain, those with injuries that will not fully heal, or those who may be facing major surgery due to pain.
Stem cell therapy can effectively be used to treat:
Stem cell therapy can repair tissues that are too damaged to heal on their own. Stem cells can stimulate the formation of cartilage, tendon, ligaments, bone and fibrous connective tissues. Stem cells are obtained from either the patient’s own tissue or a purified placental source. These concentrated stem cells are then injected into the patient’s damaged tendon or joint. A specialized centrifuge is used to isolate the cells, ensuring a high concentration of the cells. Those concentrated cells are then injected into the painful area where they will do the most good.
Dr. Zloczover will discuss the advantages and convenience of each source for your particular case. The procedure takes place in our office, and generally takes less than one hour to complete. Most people are able to return to regular activities the next day, but we do advise avoiding any strenuous activities for several weeks after the procedure so the treatment can have the greatest effect.
